සිංහල අර්ථය
සමන් දෙවියන් ද සුරඟනන් ද මන්දාර මල් වැස්සක් වස්වමින් මුනිවරයාගේ සිරි පා කමල වඳිති. නැගෙනහිරින් පෙනෙන්නේ ඒ සමනොළ කන්දයි. මිතුරිය, පිරිසිදු සඳ බඳු එය බලන්න.

The god Saman and the celestial maidens shower mandara blossoms and worship the Sage's lotus-feet. To the east rises Samanala, the mountain of the sacred footprint. Look, friend, it shines like the moon.
