සිංහල අර්ථය
අවට සපුමල් පිපී ඇත; ඒ ඒ තැන විලිකුළු කිරිළ පක්ෂීන් හඬවයි; රත් හැල් කරල් පැසී නැමී ඇත. විශාල වෙල්යාය මැදින්, වෙරළ දෙසට සිහිල් සුළඟ හමනා තැනින් වඩින්න.

Champak blooms all around, water-birds calling here and there, and red rice-ears ripe and bowed down. Pass over the great expanse of paddy and fly toward the breezy shore.
